We invite you to become a pivotal member of our organization as the System Vice President of Revenue Cycle. In this influential role, you will work in close partnership with the senior leadership team to steer strategic efforts and provide oversight for revenue cycle operations throughout our health system.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play an essential role in fostering effective communication and collaboration among medical center leaders to enhance revenue cycle performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate long-term strategic initiatives that align with organizational objectives, improving operational efficiency and financial outcomes.
  • Execute operational strategies focused on customer satisfaction, financial performance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Cultivate revenue cycle literacy across the organization by establishing robust relationships with stakeholders in diverse departments.
  • Collaborate with financial and IT teams to develop a transformation roadmap aimed at driving operational advancements.
  • Lead and facilitate governance processes to ensure that practices across the medical center are standardized and compliant.
  • Conduct regular educational forums to disseminate best practices and optimize operations.
  • Spearhead initiatives that bolster associate engagement and resonate with our core values.
  • Partner with leaders from related departments to refine processes and clarify roles.
  • Oversee new market development, system implementations, and upgrades related to revenue cycle applications.
  • Analyze complex challenges and deploy innovative solutions to enhance performance.
  • Assess new technologies and vendor capabilities, providing recommendations for enhancements that foster efficiency.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with Revenue Cycle leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvements in revenue cycle operations through process enhancements and technology integration.
  • Lead initiatives to elevate performance metrics and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Formulate policies and procedures that promote operational efficiency across the system.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with strategic partners to foster collaboration and engagement.
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators to senior management, addressing emerging issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the quality of service delivery and compliance with established agreements.
  • Analyze potential risks to the medical center and collaborate on strategies to mitigate these risks while ensuring policy compliance.
  • Create a high-performing team that achieves benchmarks for operational excellence, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting billing and revenue cycle management.
  • Set strategic goals and objectives, developing budgets to ensure outcomes align with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

  • A seasoned executive with 15-20 years of experience in hospital operations and revenue cycle management within a large integrated health system.
  • Demonstrated success in managing all aspects of revenue cycle operations, from patient interaction to collection outcomes.
  • History of aligning organizational core values with operational objectives.
  • Experience implementing advanced technological solutions and leading large-scale change initiatives.
