Downtown San Diego law firm seeking a litigation paralegal with experience in state and federal courts. In addition to civil litigation, our firm specializes in white collar criminal defense and regulatory receiverships.
Duties include traditional paralegal work preparing indices and timelines from client documents and interviews, reviewing and analyzing business records and financial documents, cite-checking, preparing and managing discovery, trial preparation, and maintaining familiarity with court rules and procedures.
An unusual aspect of this position will be periodic involvement in regulatory receiverships or monitorships pursuant to court order, which often includes immediate access to defendants’ business premises.
As part of a team in these assignments, duties will involve identifying and securing business records, electronic data, email, physical documents and assets at the business sites, as well as participating in interviews and assisting in the investigation and preparation of reports to the supervising court.
Candidate should be flexible, quick-thinking, and able to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and work independently with minimal supervision depending on the assignment.

- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with court rules and cite checking (Bluebook)
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Positive attitude and ability to communicate with partners
Experience : Minimum 3 years’ experience.
Compensation : Commensurate with experience.
