ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (DESIGN / PRODUCT SUPPORT) - JACKSONVILLE, FL Purpose of Position
The Engineer will support our low and medium voltage product engineering, automation and service efforts.

Essential Functions :
- Create drawing packages for manufacture of custom switchgear and switchboards to applicable industry standards.
- Support production during the product construction and testing.
- Work with mechanical designers to layout and create rough front views / plan views of switchgear and switchboards.
- Select components and create detailed bills of materials for our products.
- Complete short field assignments where troubleshooting, programming, commissioning, mechanical or electrical installation or design consultation is required (generally less than 5 days at a time and not to exceed 35% of total time).
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Autocad drafting software.
- Understanding of basic electrical engineering principles as they apply to power industry.
- Project / Task management and the ability to carry out a plan that moves a task to completion.
- Technical writing skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Pride in Workmanship.
- Time management.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Basic understanding of mechanical layout and considerations.
- Ability to interact directly with sales, other technical resources and management.
