How will I contribute?

The IT Support Technician will support both a company-wide ticketing queue and will assist in local technical support. As part of your process, you will generate and modify technical documentation and help execute tasks for one or more IT efforts simultaneously as delegated by the IT Support Group Lead and Senior Manager of IT Operations.

As an IT Support Technician, you must demonstrate basic understanding of the technical aspects of end-user and infrastructure support.

In this role, you will successfully triage incoming support tickets, manage your own support requests, leverage your troubleshooting abilities, and be a dedicated and dynamic team player.

Location / Work Mode :

Office-based, St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities

  • Resolve, triage and / or update level 1 support tickets as documented in the IT Call Flow and associated SLA’s..
  • Assist with local IT support issues or requests.
  • Maintain or assist with the IT inventory for their site.
  • Help with setup and care for local conference rooms and data closets.
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule and adhere to SLA’s.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent years of experience, preferred
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience providing remote desktop support, preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to guide and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical resources.
  • Proven interpersonal and external communication skills.
  • Works effectively under immediate supervision.
  • Positive upbeat personality with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Familiar with an end-user support and computing environment.
  • Willing to learn and take on new assignments.
  • Has organizational skills and can prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of the commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
  • Experience with the following applications and or systems is strongly preferred :
  • Windows Operating Systems 7 through 11
  • Microsoft Office 2016 through M365
  • Experience with the following applications and or systems is a plus :
  • Autodesk Product Suite
  • Bluebeam Revu Studio
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • VOIP
  • Video Conferencing
  • Remote Support Tools
  • Desktop Imaging
  • Microsoft 365 Admin Center
  • Problem Management (Kepner Tregoe)
