Job Description : Journeyman Plumbers
Location : Indianapolis, Indiana
Pay Range : $22-28 / hr with per diem of $10 / hr worked
UNITED TRADES OF AMERICA is seeking skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumbers to join our team for a project based in Indianapolis, Indiana .
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise while contributing to a high-profile construction project. Applicants must be local or willing to travel to the site.
Responsibilities :
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local plumbing codes and project specifications.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
- Perform inspections to identify and resolve plumbing issues or deficiencies.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
Requirements :
- Journeyman Plumber certification or equivalent, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in the trade.
- OSHA 10
- Must have 4-5 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe materials, fittings, fixtures, and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments and conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
