RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian for 10-12 hrs / week in the area!
Schedule : Flexible, Monday-Friday during normal business hours with three 4 hr visits per week.
Compensation : $30.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience.
Commute Compensation : Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.
At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities :
- Completes nutritional assessment and follow ups, using evidence-based practice, according to the facility's policy.
- Nutrition education focused intervention focusing on general nutrition and some weight loss / gain.
- Informs nursing and physician of changes in a patient's nutritional status.
- Document assessments of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record.
- Provide education to the patients and / or family members on nutritional needs as indicated.
- Attend interdisciplinary meetings as assigned.
- Adhere to all facility’s policies and procedures including confidentiality and patient’s rights.
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements : Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Experience providing general nutrition interventions (i.e. weight loss, weight gain, food intolerances, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with electronic charting systems
