Banquet Server Assistant

Andiamo is in need of Banquet Server's to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are responsible, dependable, and quick on their feet and you must have prior banquet experience.

You will be responsible for working different events, on and off premise, such as, our showroom, weddings, baby showers, funerals, etc.

In this role, you must be willing to commute to off premise events, so you will need to have reliable transportation. You also must be willing to work flexible shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Meets and exceeds all guest’s needs and requests; anticipate guest’s needs
• Knows and understands the Andiamo Mission Statement and Core Values, serving as an Ambassador to the brand
• The role entails carrying trays, setting up for events, serving our guests, and cleaning up after the event
• Withstand prolonged standing, lifting, crouching, bending
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and in a loud environment
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• China, glass, silverware set-up and all other table top requirements (menu specific)
• Arrives on time for all shifts, pre-shifts, ready to receive assigned tasks, review menu and event specifics
• Understand the importance and guidelines for all dietary restrictions and requirements requested by guests
• Communicate with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints
• Enforce Alcohol consumption / purchase rules and regulations
• Be a team player and a part of our family
• Uphold the integrity of Joe Vicari Restaurant Group by demonstrating ethical behaviors

PREFERRED SKILLS

• 1 year experience in Banquets or Conventions
• TIPS Certified (Alcohol Awareness Training)

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Fine dining experience is preferred but not required. Tremendous growth potential with multiple locations and management levels.
