About Us
One of the area’s largest family owned distributors of fresh produce, grocery and foodservice products across the Pacific Northwest region is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team! This team distributes produce to national and independent grocers, restaurants, schools and other institutions from local farmers and growers across the globe.
Overview
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations.
the primary goal is to ensure that goods and materials are efficiently transported, stored, and delivered to their intended destinations, all while minimizing costs and optimizing processes.
Responsibilities
- Building pallet loads in Produce Pro, according to specific requirements
- Arranging products in a particular pattern, ensuring weight distribution, and stacking items to maximize space utilization
- Data Entry into Produce Pro and Excel, regarding asset information, weight, and driver information
- Maintain selector workflow by generating pick labels in a timely manner
- Monitoring inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations
- Communicate daily shift hand-off and route delay information to stakeholders
- Coordinating the movement of goods via various transportation modes such as trucks, ships, and planes
Qualifications and Skills
- Expert inventory management
- Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Great leadership and goal-setting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Schedule : Sunday - Thursday (8 : 00PM - 6 : 00AM)
Compensation : $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly
