Job Summary :
Presidio is growing! We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our talented delivery team in Florida. Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of complex data / security networks, development of security, routing, and switching configurations and deployment in medium to very large environments.
You'll also be providing network engineering consulting services, including : assessment, design and implementation of data and secure networking environments, assisting clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks, and developing comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance.
Travel Requirements :
In this role, you will be expected to travel to client sites 30% of the time across FL.
Job Responsibilities :
- Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data / security networks
- Working with junior members of the engineering team to successfully implement secure network solutions
- Routing, switching, and security configuration and deployment in an enterprise environment
- Provide network engineering consulting services, including : assessment, design and implementation of secure networking environments
- Assist clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks
- Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance
Required Skills :
- Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of the following :
- Network Access Control, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) implementation design, configuration, and deployment in a lab environment
- IDS / IPS solutions (Cisco is a must)
- Firewalls / VPNs (Cisco is a must, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc. are optional)
- Complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco is a must, Arista is a plus)
- BS in CS or EE or 8-10 years related experience
- CCNP- REQUIRED at a minimum
- CCIE Security or R&S - Preferred
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and / or military experience
- 8+ years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks
