As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of top-tier care to our diverse patient population in a sub-acute setting.
Your leadership will ensure our nursing team excels in providing exceptional care across a broad spectrum of cases, including but not limited to homelessness, detox, dementia, post-surgery recovery, and more.
The starting pay is $200,000 annually and can increase based on experience and qualifications.
Job Duties
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a sub-acute setting
- Directly supervise and mentor staff, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulations
- Coordinate care and services, conduct quality assessments, and develop staffing plans
- Provide leadership to foster a culture of excellence in nursing practice
- Conduct assessments of prospective residents, including home or hospital visits
- Audit clinical records for accuracy and completeness
- Lead or participate in interdisciplinary conferences to develop adequate plans of care
- Effectively communicate treatment plans and patient progress with patient and family members
Experience / Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Director of Nursing position and training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices within a sub-acute setting
- Valid RN license in the state of California
- Knowledge of Point Click Care EMR and PDPM Policies
- Must have strong decision-making skills
- Must have experience navigating family dynamics, grievances, survey, etc.
