We are seeking an experienced Medical Collections Specialist to manage collections for HMO, PPO, and Medi-Medi accounts. This role involves handling 1,000-1,500 accounts and achieving $130K in monthly collections.
Responsibilities include collecting payments, following up on unpaid claims and appeals, and managing patient copays and deductibles, all in compliance with legal requirements.
Pay Rate : $25.00 / hr. plus quarterly highly incentivized bonus structure
Shift : Monday Friday / 7 : 00AM 4 : 00PM
City : Irvine, CA
Medical Collection Specialist Job Requirements :
- 3+ years experience as a Medical Collections Specialist
- Expertise in Accounting, Data Entry, and General Math
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma
