Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist the Pharmacy Technician is responsible to perform various technical clerical and other non-discretionary duties related to the distributive function of packaging preparation dispensing delivery charging and inventory control of medications and supplies in Unit Dose .
service and outpatient pharmacy as assigned. In addition the Technician also participates in Quality Improvement activities and performs other duties as assigned.

High school graduate or have a certificate of equivalence required with some college preferred. Require certification as a pharmacy technician with attending an accredited school of pharmacy or have the experience of equivalent skills and competency in Unit Dose .
Current State of California registration as a Technician.
Must be able to type 25 words-per-minute with no errors. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English.
PC Computerizing skills preferred.
Admixture Outpatient Services and Billing.
Qualifications
Unit Dose Admixture Outpatient Services and Billing. Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field Complete annual safety training.
Complete and maintain department specific training. Must be able to type 25 words-per-minute with no errors. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English. PC Computerizing skills preferred. State of California registration as a Technician.
