The HR business partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.

The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Serve as the Retail Stores intermediate contact on HR policies, processes and employee relations issues.
  • Ensure that the HR strategy is supported throughout the organization.
  • Attend regular meetings with the respective business units.
  • Help attract, hire and retain great store talent! Provide guidance to business unit leaders and Team Members on all HR matters.
  • Assist managers with coaching associates on performance expectations, attendance and store goals.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance requirements.
  • Foster company culture to ensure a great work environment, drive employee recognition, and assist in organizational training and career development and growth.
  • Work closely with management and Team Members to improve work relationships, build morale and increase retention.
  • Assist Team Members with HR related matters.
  • Provide guidance and input on business-related topics including workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Assist business units in managing change as it relates to HR related processes and services.
  • Able to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Education / Experience : Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Human Resources or related field.

5+ years of experience in retail HR Management. Retail multi-unit experience preferred. Knowledge of state and federal laws including leave of absence programs.

Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

HRIS experience is preferred.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to : applicant’s education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.

Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation : $80,475.00 - $107,300.00

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
