Accounting Analyst Internship

Our team excels beyond that traditional role, becoming a resource for decision-makers to propel company growth. As an Accounting Analyst Intern, you will work directly with more than one division within Clark Associates to see our impact extend beyond the department.

This is an in-office internship opportunity.

As part of the accounting team, you will fill the role of a Full-Time Accounting Analyst, which means you will be involved in real and meaningful work.

Ideal candidates will possess :

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.) and other Office applications (Outlook, Access, etc.)
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working as part of a team and independently
• Desire to learn and work at a fast pace
• Pursuing a degree in accounting or other business-related major
• Knowledge of Power BI and SQL is a bonus

Our Interns have the following key responsibilities :

• Own at least two summer projects by scheduling training / shadowing, meeting with stakeholders to discuss needs / expectations, addressing issues with solutions, and presenting outcomes followed by next steps
• Be an active member of regularly scheduled team meetings
• Participate in all Clark Summer Internship Program events
• Manage and complete daily accounting tasks
• Assist the monthly close process for financials which includes preparing journal entries and completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide ad hoc reporting and project support to the accounting group

This internship program is a direct path to be considered for Clark’s Leadership Program after graduating. The Program is a full-time, entry-level opportunity following graduation that develops candidates as the next leaders in Accounting and Finance.
