Construction Project Coordinator

Overview :
Administrative support for Construction & Land Development Department. Processing and administrative duties associated with project plan checking, permitting, and obtaining State, City, County, and utility, approvals.
Managing, tracking & reporting of plan review, and permit approvals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned.
- Provide administrative support to department as directed by Dept Manager.
- Manage plan submittals and tracking plan review and permitting of building and project related permits.
- Responsible for arranging various department meetings.
- Uploading project plans & documents to City & governmental online websites for processing permits, including the preparation and submittal of applications.
- Must be able to drive to City & governmental offices for plan submittals and obtaining permits.
- Accurate word processing, take meeting notes, schedule meetings, etc.
- File plans, permits, & documents to cloud server
- Preparing all necessary documentation to facilitate City or governing body plan review, permitting,
- Prepares, circulates, logs, and files Professional Services Agreements, and project related utility contracts.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting plan review and permitting of multiple projects.

Education / Experience / License / Certificates :
- High school diploma (College or Business school desirable)
- Valid, unrestricted Motor Vehicle License

Physical Requirements :
- This is primarily a sedentary office position, which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies and materials up to 40lbs.
- Will also be required to physically attend off-site meetings, gather site-specific information and observations, and travel to multiple regulatory agency offices and City Halls around the San Francisco Bay Area.
