IT Field Support Specialist
Nouria Energy Corporation is a multi-generational family-owned wholesale fuel distributor, convenience store operator and car wash operator in New England.
Our wholesale and retail fuel businesses are multi-branded, which includes Shell, Mobil, Irving, Sunoco, Gulf, Valero, Citgo, Phillips 66, Exxon, and multiple unbranded brands.
Our wholesale operations supply branded and unbranded fuel to 300+ locations across New England and New York. We are ranked within the top 50 largest convenience store chains in the country, operating 150+ company-operated locations throughout New England and ranked within the top 10 largest car wash chains in the country
Nouria Energy is looking for an IT Field Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be providing direct technical support to our store & carwash systems.
This includes taking ownership for IT issues, ensuring the appropriate escalations, and assist in determining the root causes of IT issues are understood and addressed.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Install, manage and support various windows operating systems, business applications, network connectivity, etc.
- Provide support for retail location hardware, software and networking issues.
- Escalate issues to vendor support as needed and follow through to resolution.
- Install and repair hardware including PCs, peripherals, POS systems, network devices, cabling, access points, etc.
- Work independently, handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- May require work during non-business hours including weekends and holidays and on-call responsibility assigned by manager.
- Direct clients through diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve errors.
- This position mainly based in Western Massachusetts area and will involve 90% local travel to retail facilities (ME, NH, MA Region).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in a related technical field or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of installing, testing and maintenance of computer hardware, software, peripherals.
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, office software & network technologies including experience in troubleshooting techniques.
- The physical requirements associated with this job for lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Desire multi-tasking and Problem-solving skills.
- Working experience in retail industry strongly preferred.
- Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record.
