Work schedule is from 4 : 00pm - 12 : 30am

Atlas Tree is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, energetic heavy equipment gas & diesel engine Mechanic. You should be a driven, self-starter with great attention to detail who’s looking to work with an awesome company with lots of opportunities for growth.

REQUIREMENTS :

Must be able to troubleshoot gas and diesel engines

Electrical systems experience

Must be able to read and understand manuals, schematics, and parts breakdowns

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Motivated and willing to take directions

Practice safety and caution procedures

Experience on tree equipment i.e. chippers, grinders, a plus.

DUTIES WILL ALSO INCLUDES, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

Perform and assists in the preventative maintenance of trucks, trailers, light and heavy equipment

Inspect, service, grease, and lubricate automotive parts and equipment

Replace and repair tires

Change oils and filters; adjust brakes and services batteries

Skills / Experience :

• Ability to work independently and in a group.
• Ability to learn quickly and to follow instructions accurately.
• Must be able to push or pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather and at extreme temperatures.
• May be exposed to higher-than-average risk of work-related injuries and illnesses from exposure to dangerous working conditions, machinery, and heights.
