QA Food Safety Supervisor
QUAD is seeking a QA Food Safety Supervisor for an exciting consumer product organization located in Morristown, NJ .
The QA Supervisor will be responsible for supporting organizational food safety and quality assurance functions, including quality and reliability testing and implementation of policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Perform systems, hazard analysis, and manufacturing and sanitation processes verification and maintenance
- Work with operations on corrective action and preventive measures implementation
- Ensure regulatory, corporate, and facility food safety / quality compliance
- Review and follow up on plant food safety incidents
- Develop management level reports
- Maintain supplies and records
- Provide GMP and food safety training
- Perform plan audit inspections
- Support new food safety programs implementation
Skills / Competencies :
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related discipline
- Manufacturing and laboratory environment experience
- SQF certification
- Knowledgeable of food safety industry standards / practices
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Details :
Employment Type : Direct Hire
Salary : $85k + bonus
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
