CapturePoint is seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented, self-motivated candidate to join our East Region Team as Engineering Manager.
The primary focus of the role is managing the technical team responsible for the performance of the North Burbank Unit (Oklahoma) CO
EOR flood. The position is based at our headquarters in Allen, Texas.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for technical oversite of operations, project execution, flood performance, and improving the value of the assets.
The ideal candidate will be a safety leader driving constant improvement in HSE, will work closely with the operations team and will manage regulatory reporting to state and federal agencies.
This position reports directly to the Director of EOR Operations.
Specialized Knowledge Requirements :
- Thorough knowledge of CO
- EOR techniques and experience with flood management
- Extensive experience with production processing and surface facility design, operation, and maintenance
- A thorough understanding of economic analysis and objective economic decision-making under conditions of uncertainty
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment where technology and individual responsibility are emphasized
- Ability to perform data visualization with the use of Spotfire
- Working knowledge of Aries, WellView, ProdView, and MS Windows Office Suite
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage engineers, geologists and engineering techs within assigned asset area
- Responsible for production delivery, optimization of production and management of downtime
- Develop and execute production and LOE budgets
- Drive team performance to meet production and cost targets
- Manage KPI's on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Manage TA / PA program
- Support annual reserves process
- Design and execute flood management strategy
- Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and BIA regulatory requirements

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Highly organized, resourceful, and efficient self-starter capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to accommodate travel and work extended, irregular hours
- Creative thinking and aptitude for solving engineering and business challenges
- Demonstrated leadership, poise, integrity, and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong self-discipline and a robust work ethic
Qualifications :
- 10+ years oil and gas experience
- Management experience strongly preferred
- EOR experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of driving improvements and profitability into the business
- Proven track record of improving safety performance
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering preferred)
