Summary :
Global Collateral Technology supports Collateral Management Operations in Global Markets Operations Technology with a number of applications to manage their day to day collateral business processes across four lines of businesses OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, Futures & Options (Exchange Traded Derivatives) and Prime Brokerage.
It is currently implementing a multiyear initiative to setup a single strategic platform to support all the four lines of businesses.
This position will be part of the large initiative to implement this global strategic platform. We will be leading the development of architectural changes to the platform as well as seeking opportunities to innovate on technologies.
What you will do
Define requirements that will extend our systems to meet the demands of our stakeholders.
Work with technology and business groups in the region and globally to deliver high quality products in a fast-paced environment.
Manage project deliveries independently.
Work within a full software development lifecycle.
Communicate and discuss with Business and Technology on specifications
Responsible for capturing and supporting delivery of business and / or system requirements (based on specialization) to accomplish business goals.
key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, capture their requirements, performance impact analysis, and then working closely with development teams to refine the requirements into specifications that can be executed by the team.
Individuals in this role possess a working knowledge of the business / technical domain and the main applications within that domain.
Required Skills :
Have at least 2 - 3 years of successfully delivering technical solutions Understand stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem.
Gather and catalog functional, non-functional and technical requirements for stakeholder requests. Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assist with identifying integration points and end to end solution design.
assist users and development team in application testing and troubleshooting and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs.
Document processes procedures and workflows associated with the applications. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to create, analyze, and improve processes and solutions.
Create, maintain and present training materials for end users. Possess a strong understanding of agile methodology, with an emphasis on test driven development & continuous integration.
Good communicator to teammates, management and business stakeholders and can work independently. Desired Skills :
Possess a foundational understanding of the Finance (Collateral) business and / or the technical domain. Proficient with using Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel and PowerPoint Fluent in data analytics which includes the ability to use tools like SQL and data manipulation in Excel.
Have an innovative mindset. Not afraid to ask why and question established practices, always looking to own and improve quality.
