Role Overview We are searching for a Senior Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets, as well as to define and deliver Greif’s value proposition to potential customers in our China business.
This is an exciting position for a strategic person who enjoys research and analysis, working across different departments to further marketing activities.
Our products and services include steel drums, IBC, closure systems and filling services. This visible role offers you the challenge to be creative in delivering competitive strategies through excellent product knowledge and market insights. Typical Accountabilities
- Deliver practical market insights through market mapping activities including competitor analysis, user analysis, and identifying marketing opportunities.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies, including product and pricing strategies.
- Identify and develop portfolio segmentation through close collaboration with relevant departments.
- Develop leads and drive sales enablement activities, especially with digital marketing strategies.
- Conduct periodic review on business performance, identifying areas of improvement and advice for relevant departments.
- Protect market share, margin, and revenue allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated sales, marketing, or business experience and across China in an industrial or related environment.
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Able to travel across China occasionally.
