The Process Engineer (Plastics / Injection Molding) is a critical role in our organization, responsible for developing, validating, and improving manufacturing processes for our plastic injection molding products.
The Process Engineer will design and implement processes that increase productivity, enhance quality, and improve safety.
This position requires a deep understanding of process engineering principles, plastics and injection molding, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement safe and effective manufacturing processes for plastic injection molded products.
- Keep costs under control and boost profitability, make sure that all production tasks are completed in a way that satisfies quality standards and is both economical and efficient.
- Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes for effectiveness and efficiency, and recommend changes.
- guarantee the best quality at the lowest cost, collaborate with the sales and production teams to create quotes for new and revised components.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of injection molding technologies, materials, and processes.
- Provide technical support to production personnel.
- Perform process validation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on plastics and / or injection molding.
- Strong understanding of process engineering principles and process improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
