POSITION SUMMARY
The Server role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages to patrons in a timely and efficient manner.
They will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to all patrons, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Take accurate orders from customers and enter them into the POS system promptly.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation.
- Answer any customer inquiries about the menu, daily specials, and dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders.
- Clear and clean tables after customers finish dining, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory of dining room essentials.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation and efficient service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including familiarity with ingredients, preparation methods, and specials.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Ability to work well within a team and cooperate with co-workers.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
