Job Responsibilities :
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Director of IT to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a broad IT strategy to ensure all employees of the organization have sufficient technical assistance and support with computer systems, hardware, or software issues.
You will also design systems and processes, manage a team, respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
General responsibilities include :
- Build and manage a team to respond quickly and effectively to IT challenges throughout the organization
- Design and implement step-by-step training material with screenshots for employee training
- Provide strategic insight for emerging concerns and issues related to systems, software and hardware
- Document internal procedures
- Design IT infrastructure, including hardware infrastructure, software solutions and computer systems
- Roll out and manage a company-wide cybersecurity system
- Train incoming staff
- Collect feedback to determine patterns and issues such that they can be resolved, or FAQs can be provided to customer to ease in troubleshooting
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in information technology-related roles
- Excellent communication skills
- Keen attention to detail, memory of patterns, and interest in problem-solving
