The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications for a faculty position with subspecialty expertise in hematopathology.
Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and candidates with clinical and academic administrative experience are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with research interest in hematopathology research will be given priority. The successful candidate will hold an or equivalent degree with board certification and subspecialty training and experience.

The Department of Pathology and Microbiology has over 70 faculty members working in modern, well-equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art facilities, including BSL3 and ABSL3 facilities.

Required Qualifications or equivalent degree
- Fellowship training in hematopathology
- Board certified or board eligible in anatomic pathology (AP), clinical pathology (CP), or both
- Eligible for unrestricted Nebraska medical license
Supplemental Qualifications
- Experience in hematopathology service.
- Experience in medical student, pathology resident and / or pathology subspecialty fellow training.
- Demonstrate an interest or expertise in research and / or scholarly activity.
- Broad-based experience in laboratory management.
