The Sales Performance & Plan Design Manager is in charge of the design and implementation of sales compensation plans and programs that attract, retain, and incentivize JM&A Group’s sales teams.
The position collaborates with Compensation, Sales Leadership, Finance, and Sales Operations to ensure effective sales planning that is aligned with JM&A’s strategic goals.
The role monitors plan effectiveness, analyzes performance reports, and investigates various issues exercising sound judgement and self-reliance.
The ideal candidate should possess robust analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, strategic thinking, proficient Excel skills, and a collaborative teamwork approach.
Will serve as a key point of contact with JM&A’s senior leaders on our sales incentive plans.
Responsibilities :
- Support the development, implementation, and communication of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies, and quotas
- Perform analysis and guide the effectiveness of our sales incentive programs.
- Work with team members to identify enhancements to provide higher-quality reporting deliverables.
- Collaborates with internal departments on the design and execution of reporting to support compensation programs and influences the design of automated reports.
- Supports Sales Leadership and field teams through effective management of systems and business data, developing actionable analytics and leveraging data to provide meaningful insights.
- Understand sales team objectives and identify effective solutions to implement sales incentive plans.
- Develop effective communication materials to communicate incentive plan details to field teams and sales leadership.
- Skillfully partners with other teams, IT and / or vendors to implement needed processes and system enhancements.
- Collaborates with Finance to develop sales goals / quotas for the sales team that align with business objectives and optimize sales results.
- Drive sales incentive program governance process improvements to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and optimization for the capability.
Qualifications :
- Direct experience in the development and implementation of Sales Incentive Compensation plans is highly preferred
- Experience and comfort in communicating, interacting, and influencing executives
- Expert analytical skills with extremely high capacity to translate data to the needs of the respective stakeholder
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Creative thinker the ability to see the big picture and not just follow the process, the ability to solve the right problem, not just the obvious problem
- Well-developed computer and software skills, including advanced Excel and Salesforce, and proficiency with MS Office
- Experience in retrieving data from Salesforce and / or HubSpot. Comprehension of Objects, Labels, Custom settings, SSO, Workflows, Validation rules, etc. is a plus
- Ability to edit, proofread, and maintain documents
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or similar field
- 2 6 years of experience in sales and / or data analysis
