Production Supervisor is responsible for the safety, quality, training, development, and productivity of the personnel on their shift.

Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day operations of their shift in the converting department.
- Ensuring that employees work safely and follow all plant rules and policies.
- Maintaining quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management, and communicating these standards to employees.
- Identifying improvement opportunities and assisting with problem-solving activities.
- Assessing the performance and training of converting personnel and determining areas for improvement.
- Providing training, development, and feedback for employees.
- Establishing high morale in the area of responsibility by showing fairness and consistency when working with all employees and maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintaining inventories of sheets, inks, and other converting supplies.
- Overseeing quality checks including box checks in production processes.
- Conducting Production / Safety / Quality meetings with departmental personnel.
- Monitoring and maintaining housekeeping throughout the plant.
- Additional duties may be assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to drive change.
- Ability to solve process and production issues independently.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with MS Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 1-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience required.
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment required.
- 5 years corrugated experience with a strong background in Flexo folder gluers preferred.
- Knowledge of KIWI software a plus.
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Must be available to work weekends.
