Our client is actively seeking a seasoned Health Law Attorney who is Board Certified to join their team. They welcome applicants who are already licensed to practice law in Florida, as well as those who plan to relocate and are willing to sit for The Florida Bar in the near future.

As an attorney for our client, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to assist clients in achieving their legal objectives and providing top-notch client service.

Their clientele consists of senior living facilities, physician and dental practices, rehabilitation and surgery centers, complex management services organizations, healthcare technology companies, and other licensed healthcare providers.

They specialize in healthcare provider structuring and employment, transactions, regulations and licensing, compliance, administration, facility acquisition, construction and land use, taxes, litigation, and the legal requirements for day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Offer legal advice and representation to healthcare clients in a wide range of litigation and transactional matters, including regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, fraud and abuse investigations, licensure and credentialing, and risk management.
  • Analyze complex healthcare laws and regulations and provide clients with guidance.
  • Effectively manage litigation matters from start to finish.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to surpass client expectations and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Contribute to marketing and business development efforts to expand the firm's healthcare practice.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging legal trends in the healthcare industry.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited law school and an active membership in the Florida Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in health care law.
  • In-depth knowledge of health care laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple complex cases and transactions, as well as demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other attorneys and support staff to achieve outstanding outcomes for clients.
  • Demonstrated dedication to delivering exceptional client service.
