Overview
Chenega Global Protection, LLC is looking to fill openings for Armed Security Guards for a government customer. The Armed Security Guard will provide physical and vehicle access security services.
Responsibilities
- Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection.
- Stand post at the entry / exit points to verify all persons' identification and conduct inquiries and surveillance of suspicious items, packages, vehicles, and persons.
- Alert the Control Center, Roving Patrol, and Shift Supervisor of any unauthorized vehicular ingress, any reports of fire and medical emergencies and the locations of these incidents.
- Monitor the Physical Access Control System (PACS) for open door alerts or other PACS operating.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.
- Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material.
- Be able to meet any Federal, State, or Municipal requirements to work as an Armed Security Guard.
- Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years.
- Have no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual’s reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenberg Act.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Reacts well under pressure..
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
