Job Title : Senior SATCOM Systems Engineer and Team Leader Reports To : President, Government Operations Responsibilities : Selected candidate will provide advanced Protected SATCOM systems engineering support and leadership, and serve as Integrity’s Subcontract Project Manager (PM) for our contribution to the Transitional Approach for Protected MILSATCOM (TAPM) effort.
Selected candidate will be responsible for directly contributing and leading team members in communications : operations, integrations, engineering, help desk support, watch officer and training, as well as cryptographic operations.
They will provide Protected SATCOM (Milstar, AEHF and EPS) expertise in support of system operations, training (onsite and classroom), troubleshooting, anomaly resolution and resource monitoring.
They will provide insight and understanding of system users, interface control, payloads, terminals, planning tools, and the like.
Selected candidates provide sound system advice, analysis, trending and resource tracking to ensure the most efficient and effective use of scarce protected SATCOM resources.
They will provide operations interface, technical expertise, and system status to government customers and other support contractors.
Selected candidates will manage team members providing leadership, mentorship, and support ensuring quality and timely mission effects, product deliveries, and their development specific to TAPM duties and more broadly as Integrity Systems Engineers.
Selected candidates are further responsible to maintain a close and effective working relationship with government (contract and technical), and prime contractor representatives, as well as Integrity leadership and support functions.
Duties will include tracking and reporting on contract deliverables and performance areas. Duties : Provide technical and operational knowledge, and team leadership in support of U.
S. Space Force Consolidated SATCOM Systems Expert (C-SSE) and Satellite Operations Center’s (SOC) communications mission Provide advanced SATCOM support in Protected SATCOM operations, integrations, engineering, help desk, watch officer and cryptographic areas Assist terminal / platform users in resolving system related issues Perform operational impact assessments to determine global effects of any Protected SATCOM anomalies Provide mission planning, data distribution, training, policy and procedures writing and input, and representation to the EHF management and support communities Conduct troubleshooting with system users in communications planning, resource monitoring, terminal image generation, key loading, and terminal operations Independently conduct formal and informal training presentations Provide leadership, mentorship and development to junior team members Meet corporate responsibilities in a timely, efficient and productive manner : budgeting, training, mentoring, customer relations, quality products / deliveries Travel : Domestic and international travel is required Qualifications : Must have a strong desire to build and lead highly effective technical teams Active US Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain SCI eligibility is required Candidate must reside within commuting distance of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado or be willing to relocate to the area this position is not a candidate for remote or work-from-home accommodations Minimum of 10 years of experience in military or commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Possess superior oral and written communication skills to effectively and efficiently convey issues and ideas to team members, leadership, and stakeholders including military, government, and contractor personnel Strong analytical and exceptional problem-solving skills Desired Qualifications : Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar Applied experience in Protected Military SATCOM (MILSATCOM) systems Demonstrated knowledge of EHF user community, mission planning, apportionment / allocation, resource monitoring, and terminal control Exhibited knowledge and application of Mission Planning Element / Subsystem (MPE / MPSS) Related experience in a technical or operations team leadership role Show expertise with EHF terminal operations desired (e.
g., FAB-T, SMART-T, NMT, etc.) Display experience in software analysis, modeling, and simulation a plus (e.g., SQL, MATLAB, STK, Scripting, etc.
