- Prime Responsibilities
Bakery operations
- Responsible for all sanitation and health conditions in the department.
- Responsible for preparing employee work schedules.
- Responsible for all safety issues within the department.
- Responsible for ordering supplies for the department as he / she deems appropriate.
- Responsible for inventory control.
- Responsible for the proper incorporation of all products.
- Responsible for ensuring that all company policies are being followed by his / her department members at all times.
- Ensures that all department standards are up to date.
Personnel
Orientation of new hires and completion of necessary paper work. Training of personnel. Communication with and handling of customer related problems.
Maintains employee appearance standards and completes employee evaluations, both formal and informal.
- Understands operating performance and properly projects volume.
- Works with all Store Management in establishing personnel training programs. Ensures implementation of same.
- Directs the work of subordinates.
- Evaluates employees’ efficiency and productivity.
- Disciplines employees as he / she deems appropriate.
- Plans and distributes work.
- Determines the techniques to be used by his / her subordinates in doing their work.
- Ensure that all employees you are responsible for take their meal and breaks
- Ensure compliance with safety programs and procedures.
