Location :

• Primary : Beltsville, MD
• This position may require time at our job sites.

Reports to : Warehouse Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Receiving and Processing Shipments :
• Inspect, unload, verify, label, and store incoming materials.
• Inventory Management :
• Maintain records, conduct counts, organize inventory, and monitor levels.
• Order Fulfillment :
• Pick, pack, prepare documents, and coordinate shipments.
• Warehouse Maintenance :
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized; perform equipment checks.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping :
• Enter data, maintain activity records, and prepare reports.
• Transportation logistics :
• Move materials between warehouse and worksites.
• Equipment Operation :
• Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
• Team Collaboration and Communication :
• Work with staff, communicate issues, and assist in training.
• Safety and Compliance :
• Follow safety guidelines, use PPE, and report unsafe conditions.
• Customer Service :
• Assist customers, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and resolve complaints.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Identify and implement process improvements and stay updated with trends.

Required Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Warehouse or logistics experience
• Equipment operation skills (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks)
• Attention to detail, basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Organizational, time-management, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications :

• Forklift certification
• Experience in solar / renewable energy
• Knowledge of safety regulations and inventory management software (SAP, Oracle)
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) or ability to use translators to expedite communication

Work Environment : This role is primarily based outdoors in all weather conditions and working at heights. This role routinely uses hand and power tools, along with industry specific tools and equipment.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, document projectors, filing cabinets and fax machines.
