ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Division Responsibilities :

  • Manage and develop the Iowa based ITC Account Management team by defining and overseeing the duties and responsibilities of the team, performance coaching, establishing the strategic direction for sales initiatives, and geographic coverage while providing coaching / mentoring both in the field as well as within the office through ongoing interactions / communications.
  • In collaboration with CXO, provide strategic direction and team leadership through a thorough understanding of the ITC market demand, industry market trends, local / solution competitive pressures and geographic expansion efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to implement successful strategies and tactics for growth within the client base.
  • Conduct the sales planning processes including preparation of sales budget, sales forecasting and recurring pipeline forecast reviews.
  • Responsible for presenting all sales proposals for internal review.
  • Coordinate efforts between your team and Operations to successfully deliver the technical solutions positioned and sold to existing and new ITC clients.
  • Coordinate efforts with operations / engineering to identify new products, solutions & pricing to be incorporated and existing products / pricing to be discontinued or modified to maintain the agreed upon strategic business objectives
  • Collaborate as part of an integrated, cross-functional team.
  • Work with marketing to plan and coordinate events for ITCs.
  • Ensure that each ITC is being contacted on a regular basis.
  • Work with engineering to provide technical solutions for the ITCs.

Leadership Responsibilities :

  • Perform all leadership duties including, but not limited to, engagement and performance feedback for the ITC team.
  • Manage the development, growth, and performance of remote of the Enterprise sales team members
  • Manage multiple efforts and prioritize production schedules as needed to ensure overall quality and timeliness of work.

Administrative Responsibilities :

  • Manage team spend so it is in alignment with the budget.
  • Manage and report on activities and provide management with access to report data on current activities and / or information that helps drive departmental planning and budgeting activities

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE :

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of account management, sales support background, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the telecommunications industry in Iowa.

  • Ability to present information to various groups in a variety of formats. Able to develop, prepare and present sales performance metrics to management
  • Able to recruit, hire, coach, evaluate, discipline and terminate sales team members
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to manage and foster change

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE :

  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer applications Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Partial indoor work in an office environment.
  • Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of a computer screen.
  • Frequent travel by vehicle, occasional overnights and travel by air.
  • Valid Driver's license, safe driving record and ability to travel frequently.
