Position : 2nd Grade Special Education Teacher
Type : Full-Time
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement IEPs.
- Provide specialized instruction.
- Collaborate with general education teachers.
- Assess and adjust student instruction.
- Communicate with parents and professionals.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Participate in professional development.
- Foster a positive classroom environment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Virginia teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
- Experience with elementary students preferred.
- Knowledge of special education laws and practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
