InterStellar BBQ is a small batch barbecue restaurant in NW Austin / Cedar Park that is focused on high quality ingredients, creative sides, and fun desserts.
We are a restaurant that values quality over quantity and we make the majority of all our food in house. We are a small crew that wants to work with someone who is excited about food and taking care of our customers.
Having experience in a BBQ restaurant is preferred, but it is not required. We are happy to train anyone that has the right attitude and work ethic.
Job Description and Requirements :
This is a part time position. We are open Wednesday through Sunday. We are offering 3-4 shifts per week, approximately 9 : 30am to 5-5 : 30pm.
About 21-28 hours per week). Weekends and having a flexible schedule is required.
Duties :
- Working and maintaining dining room for the shift
- Bussing tables, restocking paper goods, iced teas, interacting with guests inside the restaurant and in line and ensuring a great guest experience
- Working both sides positions and cashier
- Being cross trained on cutting is a requirement of this position.
- Being able to multitask, have time management skills during the shift
- Be able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Being a team player in a small restaurant where team work is required
- Trustworthy, dependable and punctual
