Position Information Job Title Visiting Instructor of Economics (2023-2024) Rank Visiting Instructor Tenure Information Non-Tenure Track Job Description The University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business seeks a Visiting Instructor of Economics to start in January 2023 for academic year 2022-2023.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach Economics courses at both undergraduate and MBA level. Additionally, an ability and interest in teaching statistics is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate a capacity to engage diverse students in their teaching as well as an ability to attract diverse students to the college.
Full-time Visiting faculty members will teach four courses per semester both on-ground and on-line and stay active in scholarship.

College Information The Barney School offers both day and evening classes. The course load for this position is four courses per semester and represents a combination of both graduate and undergraduate courses.
Graduate courses are offered online as well as onsite and faculty should be prepared to teach in both modalities, including hybrid options.
