We are currently looking to add an IBM iAdministratorto our growing Technology team. In this role you will beresponsible for the operation and functionality of the AS400 systemincluding all devices and systems that are attached to it.
You willwork closely with the Network Operations Team on completingprojects to maintain and upgrade the system as well as troubleshootany issues that may arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintain andupgrade the IBM i system
Fully manages disaster recoveryplan including periodic testing
Manages AS400 securitypolicies
Manages installation and configuration of AS400software applications
Provides secondary support forMicrosoft Windows network
Performs other duties asassigned
Any software updates that need tohappen
Help with customer and vendor issues and willhave to problem solve and be solution oriented
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelors degree in computer science or informationsystems
Proven track record of working withcrossfunctional teams to achieve company goals
Minimumof 5 years administering IBM i / AS400 environment
Experience administering Microsoft Windows environment is aplus
Ability to quickly build relationships withemployees and customers
Experience programmingRPG / RPGLE / RPGLE Free / SQLRPGLE
