Based at the Flow Controls Global Headquarters in Marshalltown, IA, you will work with colleagues around the world in a joint effort to develop, implement, and track projects that structure our supply chain network for resiliency and optimized performance.
This role will actively supervise the progression of development projects while ensuring alignment to global strategies.
As experience grows, your skills will be used to provide guidance / insights to World Area teams while making suggestions for future supply network design projects.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :
- Drive actions that facilitate long term supply chain resiliency. You will collaborate with world area supply chain teams and with the Strategic Product Business Units to gain alignment and implement the action plans critical for maintaining continuity of supply to global sites!
- Coordinate, prioritize, and track / supervise the execution of multiple supplier qualification projects where completion is required to shape the supply chain for optimized performance, network design, and / or response to unique customer requirements.
- Ensure an accurate balance of best cost, regional speed, and specialty supplier network is maintained and support the management of development projects as needed to align with overall supply chain strategy.
- Partner with global teams to develop specific commodity strategies and maintain alignment across world areas.
- Expertly collaborate with other teams / individuals across the global business to gain priority, drive project progression, and minimize task backlog while not having managerial authority over these supporting functions.
- Provide regular project updates to senior leadership thru development of slides and other visuals communicated thru in-person presentations, written updates, and virtual sessions.

- You design processes and procedures that minimize your own tactical actions while allowing you to lead from a distance.
For This Role, You Will Need :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering or Related Field
- 4+ years Supply chain and / or Operations experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :
- Experience working in an influence without authority leadership position.
- Experience with PowerBI tools and / or other Intelligent Automation programs.
- Excellent Project Management and Analytical skills
- Lean, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Material planning knowledge preferred.
- Verbal & written communication skills require English proficiency.
