Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates understanding of McCarthy Safety Guidelines and Procedures. Safety is their top priority.
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple Piping material applications : Steel / carbon pipe, Copper Pipe, PVC / PCV pipe, Poly Pipe, Stainless Steel pipe and Aluminum pipe, including piping layout.
- Receives direct supervision and performs technical responsibilities.
- Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.
- Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager.
- Skilled specialist that demonstrates reliable judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations.
- Promote a positive learning environment in mentoring and directing of apprentices.
- Perform testing, inspecting, and recording.
- Maintain all tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
- Use materials and other resources conservatively to promote project success and profitability.
- Install all systems and products per code, specifications, submittals, and contract documents.
- Provide applicable input promptly to maintain current As-Built record drawings.
