Responsibilities :
- Maintain order in the hotel, dealing with the welfare of guests and assisting with door lock problems.
- Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality; anticipate potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints, operational issues and associate performance.
- Implement emergency procedures to ensure appropriate protection for hotel guests, staff and company assets.
- Monitor employees to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Assume responsibilities of any line level employee as needed.
- Handle undesired conduct and potential violations of hotel policy for the security and safety of hotel guests, associates, patrons and property.
- Answer security telephone and respond in a timely manner based on priority.
- Observe security monitors for any unusual activity and report concerns to the Manager on duty.
- Respond to emergency alarms and calls for help, determining the course of action, and notifying appropriate authorities when warranted.
- Patrol property areas, including parking lots, noting unusual circumstances or security concerns and taking appropriate action.
- Complete various security reports and forms for investigation, action and liability abatement.
- Drive hotel guests' vehicles to and from assigned parking locations, complying with all traffic laws / regulations.
- Respond to guest inquiries courteously; provide information regarding transportation, hotel services, local events, points of interest and activities.
- Conduct visual inspection of vehicles to ensure ongoing safety and functionality; report any malfunctions as noted.
- Prepare and submit required reports to management.
- Audit, balance and report on all cash and credit transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Audit, balance and prepare, verify and report on Room information to provide rooms management with overall performance information.
- Complete Front Desk activities related to guest check-ins and check-outs in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Carry guests' luggage.
- Deliver express check-out documents.
- Maintain complimentary food & beverage station; assist with breakfast set-up as needed.
- Accurately complete and enter reservation calls in the reservation system.
- Arrange for alternative lodging for guests when necessary in accordance with established procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibility :
This position has supervisory responsibilities for all staff in all departments in the absence of the FOM and AGM.

- This job operates in a professional office environment.
- This is a full-time position requiring 40 to 50 hours per week.
- Work days and hours may vary depending on property needs.
- This position works indoors.

Education
Preferred : Bachelors or better in Hospitality and Resort Management or related field.
Experience
Preferred : 2+ years of experience as Night Manager / Front Office Manager in an equivalent hotel or a related field.
