Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology (Methodist Hospital)

IU Health Physicians is hiring for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Gastroenterology team  in  Indianapolis, IN!Â

• Full time, Day Shift Monday-Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm Every 3rd weekend day rotation (2 days off during same week)
• 50% Inpatient, 50% OutpatientÂ
• Patients include adults with new or chronic GI issues including patients with IBS, IBD, esophageal issues and concerns, chronic diarrhea, bleeding, colonoscopy screenings, and upper GI endoscopy patients.Â
• Practice primarily at Methodist Hospital, with per diem rotation at West Hospital as neededÂ
• Team includes 8 physicians and 7Â APPs Great communication between physicians and APPs APPs are the rounding providers in the hospital, physicians help support
• No procedural work

Qualifications :

• Open to ACNP, FNPÂ and PA certificationsÂ
• Ideal candidate will have a background in GI
• If new graduate, GI clinical rotation required
• Seeking a team player with strong communication and adaptability skillsÂ
