Overview

The OLED Manufacturing team is a core group of employees that focus on the set up and execution of research experiments, producing our OLED panels on coater machines, and helping to advance our OLED multi-stack technology. This team is often on their feet operating and monitoring progress, troubleshooting, conducting product tests and performing maintenance on the machines, related tools and equipment we use. As the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee this critical team of technicians and engineering technicians.

What You'll Do Every Day

Each day, you and your team will help improve the manufacturing processes, raise the product quality and profitability here at OLEDWorks. By scheduling assignments, coordinating daily activities, overseeing training, and making sure all procedures and policies are followed, you will help move our business forward!

You will have a focus on safety requirements, identify and report issues and opportunities, and identify ways to increase yield. When needed, you will jump in and help run, troubleshoot / repair equipment, schedule maintenance and preventative measures, collect / analyze data, and problem solve.

You will also work to motivate the team, coach them properly, handle schedules and time off, review / approve time entry and handle performance management aspects.

Skills You Must Bring

You have experience supervising or managing a team of people. You understand and demonstrate leadership qualities and have a focus on team development. You have hands-on working experience in a technical environment. It is helpful if you bring organic and inorganic materials knowledge as well as skills in mechanical operation in a vacuum environment. You can adapt within a changing and growing company environment and seek out solutions with a positive outlook. You have demonstrated the delivery of great internal customer service in previous employment and understand the importance of the same at OLEDWorks. Ideally, you have worked with certifications such as ISO 9001.

This position is on-site in Rochester. We will need someone who can stand 50% of the time, walk, reach, bend, and lift / move boxes and materials up to 25 lbs. Occasionally we will need something heavier moved / lifted using assistance. The ability to use tools and machines daily is required.
