Key Responsibilities :

• Translate user and business needs into clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Define technical strategies and execution plans for major projects with long-term impact.
• Tackle ambiguous technical challenges and lead them to successful solutions.
• Champion innovation, identifying new technologies to advance our platform.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering team growth and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create scalable, secure technical architectures.
• Influence design and planning decisions across multiple teams.
• Manage broad technical areas with deep expertise, navigating complex relationships.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, security, and scalability.
• Provide on-call support, owning production issues from root cause analysis to resolution and prevention.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent education.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern development framework / language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
• Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and architect solutions.
• Experience leading projects from design to production, maintaining high technical standards.
• Expertise in at least one area relevant to our cloud-based financial platform (e.g., fintech, distributed systems, databases, security, or front-end).

Preferred Qualifications :

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience or a combination of work experience and advanced education.
• Demonstrable leadership and mentorship skills, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• History of leading significant technical initiatives with impactful results.
• Experience building and scaling high-performance engineering teams.
• Familiarity with live on-call and 24 / 7 operation of production services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD).
• Strong understanding of security best practices for building enterprise applications.
