$5000 SIGN ON BONUS
The Medical Technologist must promote good public relations for the department and Northwest Medical Center while maintaining patient / customer confidentiality.
Medical Technologists are responsible for :
- Experience with training non laboratory personnel.
- Working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
- Develops Quality Control Plan.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Reports to the Laboratory Director.
- Requires graduation from an accredited MT / MLT program
- Ensuring maintenance of the analyzers is completed
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Education / License / Certification :
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science required
- 2 experience in field or related area
- ASCP preferred
Experience / Skills :
- Able to meet sensory requirements of the job.
- Capable of performing all laboratory tests and related calculations.
- Able to participate in laboratory Quality Assurance Program
- Attention to detail and concentration
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
