Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Regional Manager this position is responsible for the operations and management of a student housing community in Gainesville, FL.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee operations of designated student housing property including leasing, maintenance and renovations.
- Determine needs and requirements of student housing and market rate properties.
- Create a strong, positive work environment with onsite property management teams and maintain consistent communication to strategize and support the team.
- Monitor asset performance and operations, recommend corrective measures.
- Prepare annual budgets.
- Prepare performance reports and other ad hoc reports as requested by Executive Management.
- Other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred.
- Experience supervising large team (10+ employee) required.
- Student Housing experience preferred, but not required.
- Previous Property Manager experience required 3+ years in management position.
- Proficiency in Entrata.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
