Interventional Radiology Technician
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team for a 3-month contract at our facility in Hartford, CT.

What you'll be doing :
- Preparing examination rooms and equipment for patient procedures.
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to produce clear and precise diagnostic images.
- Ensuring patients comfort and safety during procedures while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Inputting scan sequences into the system and monitoring imaging to ensure quality.
- Assisting with organizing the daily schedule, handling emergencies, and maintaining radiographic supplies.
- Collaborating with Physicians to communicate critical diagnostic information.
- Performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
- Managing administrative tasks such as scheduling and answering technical queries.
Requirements :
- Must be a traveler residing more than 60 miles from the facility.
- 1-3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Authorization to work in the US (Green Card or US Citizenship required).
