Typical Day in the Life
As an intern in the Microsoft 365 Development team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside senior engineers to create innovative solutions and interfaces for end users utilizing SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, , and Microsoft Teams.
This role will provide valuable exposure to the development process for Microsoft 365 solutions, as well as a change to develop technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, , and Microsoft Teams based Solutions
- Helps to create and maintain Microsoft 365 specific connectors, data sources, and integrations
- Familiarity with low code development best practices and standards
- Works with senior engineers to review requirements and identify system functionality and project feasibility
- Prepares and maintains documentation on Microsoft 365 applications and the related DevOps process
- Performs system maintenance on Microsoft 365 applications and related connections
- Assists with quality assurance testing before solutions are released
- Working effectively as an individual, as well as within a team structure, to deliver results.
- Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects
- Maintains compliance with project timetables and deadlines
- Create and maintain documentation related to current and future Microsoft 365 applications
Who You Are
- Currently pursing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Data Connectors, Databases.
- Interest in office applications and Microsoft 365 products.
Knowledge and Skills
- Self-motivated and interested in working on real projects and implementations, with real results and responsibilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
