SUMMARY OF DUTIES :
Make repairs to bridges, trestles, buildings, fences and other miscellaneous structures and other duties as required. Must be fully conversant with term used in day-to-day operations and the use of tools required in daily work.
Must be considered skilled in either carpentry, masonry or iron work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Experience in carpentry, masonry, steel work or other applicable craft.
- Valid driver’s license is required at time of hire. . Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Trade and / or vocational training.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS :
Good written and verbal communication skills.
The hourly rate is $34.09 - $37.87 (with opportunity for increases, as per the applicable collective bargaining agreement, after beginning employment).
