PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
SALARY : $60-75K

Primary Responsibilities of the Project Accountant :
- Work closely with the project managers throughout the life of the project, ensuring financially and administratively accuracy reflected in monthly invoicing based on contract requirements
- Set up billings and close out projects
- Coordinate consultant invoices and payments in accordance with agreements
- Maintain contract files within guidelines and perform contract file audits
- Ensure project costs are recorded properly; prepare project labor and expense adjustments when needed
- Review and processing of project budgets, vendor proposals, change orders, and invoices within financial system
- Respond to inquiries from clients, consultants, and team members in a professional, efficient, and timely manner
- Assist at month end and year end with reports and reconciliations
Preferred Qualifications of the Project Accountant :
- Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- Strong computer and system skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills
- Construction, design, or project cost experience is a plus
