Security Training and Awareness Specialist

Key Role :

Support the growth of our culture of cyber mindfulness both inside and outside the workplace. Understand cyber risks to the business and develop educational strategies and programs to educate the firm.

Develop engaging and timely cyber awareness content and promote a cybersecurity-focused culture. Support the development of cyber threat awareness messages, end user awareness training, and phishing simulations.

Leverage existing processes and platforms to disseminate cyber awareness news for end user consumption. Assist in the development of cyber awareness and compliance training curriculum.

Assist in the development of security awareness materials for firmwide consumption. Respond to end user questions and requests via email and other collaborative firm platforms.

Participate in collaborative meetings with the cyber operations team to develop cyber news for timely firmwide dissemination.

Assist in the tracking and updating of phishing tool vendor support tickets. Support end user training enrollment. Provide input on phishing simulation enhancements.

Identify and define target groups within the phishing tool. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.

S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications :

• Knowledge of basic cybersecurity terms and processes
• Knowledge of cybersecurity awareness best practices
• Knowledge of effective communication strategies
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to learn and master new processes
• Ability to learn about and understand complex environments
• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications :

• Experience interfacing directly with leadership, developing and managing reporting documentation, and customer and client service support
• Experience with cyber technologies and capabilities
• Experience with selecting, designing, and implementing security training tools
• Experience with innovative Cybersecurity products and capabilities
• Ability to lead discussions and reach consensus among various stakeholders to conduct planning
• Ability to prioritize competing demands
• Ability to be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possession of excellent interpersonal and client service skills
• CompTIA Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
